In Saturday night's first divivsion of the AJ Cutler Eliminations, there is one horse of particular interest to look for. Sebastian K S makes his first pari-mutuel start in the North America; his last betting race was in Sweden back in September. Scheduled to be driven by his trainer Ake Svanstedt, he qualified on April 26 for his trainer, finishing fourth in 1:56.2. Granted he has been away but considering his record overseas, he deserves respect, especially if you have been following European racing.
What makes Sebastian K so interesting?
- Earnings of $650,000 last year is nothing to sneeze at; nor is his lifetime earnings of almost $2.3 million through his 7yo season.
- He finished his season last year racing three heats at approximately one mile where he won two heats; the second heat in 1:55, third heat in 1:57, following a fourth place finish race timed in 1:53.4.
- He shows a line defeating the renowned Commander Crowe.
Whether he wins or loses, he is a horse worth watching.
