Chicago harness racing fans and horsemen are no doubt rightfully concerned regardless the ineptness of the Illinois legislature in passing a new ADW/IRB funding bill which is threatening to condense the 2014 harness season into a glorified fair meet with only 13 days of racing. However, for one night, that can be put to the side as this year's American Nationals have drawn some of their strongest slate of equine personalities in as long as I can remember.
