You are Never to Old to Learn

Get ready for Night School, a program put together to help newcomers and experienced harness racing fans learn more about handicapping races which is being sponsored by the United States Trotting Association, Daily Racing form, and the Meadowlands Racetrack.  This night school is similar to the one offered for thoroughbred and quarter horse racing.

Poppycock you say?  Why do you need to attend night school?  Because learning is never wasted, especially when it comes to harness racing.  Who should attend?

  • A relatively new or inexperienced handicapper - There is certainly something new to learn.
  • A successful handicapper - You should always listen to the alternative theories out there as a handicapper should always be looking to improve their game.
  • A long time handicapper who remembers the way racing used to be - There is a good chance you have not been able to alter your handicapping methods successfully to the new style of racing.  Here is a chance to break out of your old methods which are likely costing you big time.
  • If you are someone who can pick six or seven winners a night yet still manages to lose money or not make as much as you should - Learning how to play your selections correctly can only improve your game.  Remember, it is quality, not quantity which collects.
