The Great White North Tour starts 2014 at Northfield Park outside of Cleveland, Ohio. Most of you should be familiar with Northfield Park as this is a track which thrives on simulcasting. In fact, Northfield Park is a track which simply doesn't close for snow storms. Okay, there was one day it closed but as a rule, when all the other tracks are snowed out, it's time to get out the past performance pages for Northfield Park.
While casino racing has arrived at what is being called Hard Rock Rocksino at Northfield Park, the purses have yet to reflect the casino play. However, since they only began operating the machines in mid-December, it is not to be unexpected. One thing as a horse player is if you look at the Hard Rock Racino Northfield Park webiste, you will see two brief mentions of horse racing. If you want to see anything about the racing, you need to go to the original Northfield Park website..
