Cal-Expo Early Pick 4 (Races 1-4)

Race 1 -  Same exact field last week, just some drawing differently.  #1 Intrepid Kate won last week from the rail and gets the same spot this week; a must have on your ticket.  #5 Frankly Scarlett finished second to top pick last week drawing same post once again.   

Race 2 - #2 Myra's Hiho got caught without cover in last start.  Top pick with a trip here.  #6 Arch Nemeses is a horse whose best efforts are from the outside.  Can be there if if top pick falters.  #1 Marlin Hanover, couldn't capitalize on perfect trip last week, but one prior week against cheaper.  I'll pass on him, but if you want to add another horse to your ticket, consider.

Race 3 - #4 Badger Creek is my solo pick here.  Just missed after being parked without cover.  #1 Lust will draw some money but has not been finishing her miles.

Race 4 - Wide open race.  #2 Letter Of Intent just missed parked without cover.  #1 Goli Tieh has been racing well over her head.  Plunges to the bottom and may find her form again.  #5 My Tryin Ryan draws better and drops slightly. 
Early Pick 4 Ticket - 1,5/2,6/4/1,2,5 - $12

Cal-Expo $10,000 Late Pick 4 (Races 5-8)

Race 5 - #1 Bit O Lavec - Had an impossible trip in last.  Draws rail and competitive; taking looking for a little price.  #4 Bobby Baccala just missed in last.  Best efforts are with a slower pace.   

Race 6 - Wide open race; need to go deep.  Selecting #3 Little Box out, #1 Shoot The Works, #2 Schemes, #4 Jeff The Builder, #6 Red Star Wild One in this order.

Race 7 - #1 Diamond Player drops to a more reasonable level.  Top pick.  #6 A Girl Named Fred shows potential; can't leave out.  #7 Cattle Baron ships down from Alberta Downs and was competitive in $7,000 claimers.

Race 8 - Taking a stab with #5 SA Sunset despite driver.  Raced well in this class before; dropping two groups.  #6 Irish Whiskey won from post seven last week and dropping.  #3 Try This interfered with and forced three wide at the 3/4s.  Chance with better trip
