It is day one of The Report. There is still time for harness and thoroughbred factions to unify. <br /><br />New Jersey horse racing is just too rich in history and too potent to be thrown away like this.<br /><br />If there are any future meets, it should be conducted with the best foot forward, best purse structure possible, with the best horses and horsemen available to compete at the lowest takeout rates possible.<br /><br />Monmouth Park is providing the blueprint this summer.
