Back to the Track Friday

Friday night is the first evening of Back to the Track.  Among the many promotional events occurring at your local raceway there is the $25,000 Guaranteed Multi-Track Pick 4 featuring races from the Meadowlands, Northfield Park, Yonkers Raceway, and Maywood Park.

In addition to the Back to the Track promotion, the Meadowlands starts looking like the Meadowlands of old with the big money races returning starting with Friday night's $257,000 Delvin Miller Memorial for 3yo filly trotters.  In addition to that, Tioga Downs has the 2yo and 3yo filly pacers on display in the Tompkins-Geers.

  1 - Sizzling Volo (D Miller, 10-1) -  Still looking for 2nd lifetime win.  In deep.
  2 - Hey Mister (Sears, 2-1) - Appears to be the best of this field.  The one to beat.
  3 - Tawesome More (A Miller, 15-1) - Seems to be aimed for this race.  May land share.
  4 - Iron Lady (Ouellette, 15-1) - Toss last.  If there is an upset horse, this may be it.
  5 - Angelette Hanover (Gingras, 8-1) - Raced out of state credibly; returns .  Share with trip.
  6 - Wincinnatti (Dunn, 15-1) - Business like qualifier.  Picks up Aussie Dunn to drive.  Tough spot.
  7 - Action On George (Tetrick, 8-1) - Been racing will on PASS.  The threat to the favorite.
  8 - Lady Andover (Lachance, 5-1) - Wiped out in last but seems to have gait issues.
  9 - Lost Symbol (Smedshammer, 4-1) - Has developed into a nice filly but draws poorly.
10 - Creme De Cocoa (Ackerman, 15-1) - Returns to the big track but just can't see.
11 - Thatsnotmyname (Pierce, 10-1) - Stuck behind horses that don't look to leave.
